Aku heran

I was browsing thru a bruneian blogger/photographer/photojournalist. Aku ani suka liat photography urang kawin or just scenery or anything yg lawa lah.. kalinya ehhh ngalih ku kan becerita.

Kalinya kan aku liat2 lah, salnya banyak gambar urang kawin, hhmm i recognise some people, ada family friends, ada cousins, ada jua urg2 yg slalu tani nampak arah buku dirgahayu sultan or tv.

At first, okay lah lawa gambarya noice photography skills and stuffs, siuk sudah ku meliat2 gambar urang, hantaran kawin, siapa tukang makeup and stuffs. Everything is okay but apa yang ku inda suka ialah..pre-wedding photos. Apakan gunanya pre wedding photos ani? Okay lah maybe untuk taruh arah bilik pengantin and jadi collections for the bride and groom and it's becoming a trend now in Brunei that almost every couple whom are getting married will definitely have a pre-wedding photos. I hate it because the pre-wedding photos produced by some/most bruneian photographers suck. Suck because:

1)Scenery lawa the couple inda pandai dress up to the scenery

2)Bini2nya lawa bemake up for photoshoot, tapi photoshoot dalam hutan, Kalau theme hutan buatlah pakaian, makeup mcm di utan, what I meant is natural makeup inda payah tabal2. Oh well inda jua ku dapat salahkan them maybe salah colour foundation/badak etc kali..tahulah di brunei ani kalau kan membali fondation, yg melayan ani "Beautician" plang tapi inda ada certificate"

3) Kalau semua sudah bisai, the groom ada masalah seperti baju unappropriate e.g. football jersey di hutan or pantai. Dudes, football jersey are not meant to be used di hutan or pantai, it's meant to be used di atas padang bola or playground. To defend my self, have you guys ever seen David Beckham using football jersey di pantai/hutan? 

4)The theme. My perception is that pre wedding photos ani macam kan show what is memorable to the couple before getting married ah, macam something bah example how the girl likes to watch/accompany the groom to his football match, how the couple loves shopping together..you see memorable things that you do before you get married, pasalnya if you create a fake theme again theme bedating di hutan, people can see fakeness no matter how great the technique/scenery/background.

5) photoshop, Aku ada soalan "what is the only thing that is uniform towards every photgrapher in terms of photoshopping?" apanah? ni nahh --> (c) *insert your name* atu saja tahu drg, melihat some professional photographers buat cematu ikut2an tah kan taruh the sign copyright. I seriously think that photographer needs to brush up their photoshopping skills. 

6) To add up all, 1+2+3+4+5 = 0

Actually there's more, in the mean time..I have to observe more before criticizing stuffs.

i know what I said ani will make some people marah..and questions like " what's wrong with makai baju bula kan? what's wrong kan urang bemakeup di hutan? inda jua salah drg punya suka" but still from my point of view, behapakan membayar beratus-ratus ringgit, behapakan membazir bergulung2 filem or kalau inda filem battery camera digital etc.. mun gambar atu bida. Okaylah maybe lawa in term of technicality but in term of sentimental value sikit or maybe kusung. 

But I do salute some photographers..ada yang very individual. Very dominating and the style atu unique bah. Bah atu saja..

Btw, I'm not a professional photographer, I'm just an enthusiast and I love criticising.
