Secondly, in my safari(that's firefox for windows) I bookmarked BT just because I want to read Bruneian news. News apart there's this thing that's cool about BT is because they have a poll. I'm not sure how often is the poll regulated maybe once a week, or maybe every 3 days I don't know. Somehow the poll's questions are very interesting, such as "Is it high time for Bruneians to say no to pirated goods?" then you can vote to "agree" or "disagree". etc etc.
What annoys me is that (yes I'm annoyed even though the poll is cool, I'm just annoyed) MOST of the times when I vote I am on the non majority. which means 70 percent disagree then 30% agree, I would most probably be on the agree side. To vote this thing it's recommended that you read the article backing it up. The poll is backed by an article, an article which is sometimes I can say interesting and sometimes again annoying to me for not having an extended research and maybe the author was just trying to get some amount of cash for writing something poll-able.
Currently the poll says something like this "Brunei must charge higher prices for water used beyond a preset volume to discourage waste" I disagree because
1) instead of increasing price why can't we introduce water retention such as collecting rain water and used laundry water for all those menyiram bunga or menyiram rumput
2)Economicwise, increasing the price won't help pasalnya water is something that has no substitute, pakai apa nah kalau nada air? mun kan beristinja pakai pasir pulang~ kalau harga buah pisang naik sampai $20 sekilo sanang saja jangan bali pisang and makan buah lain mcm anggur kah apa, that's called substituting. kalau harga air naik kan pkai apa mandi? see air is something that has no substitute
3) Tu nah saman semua kadai cuci kerita yang $3 ahh durang yang membazir air tu, saman tia or durang yang patutnya bayar air mahal pasalnya drg atu business pakai air.
banyak lagi idea2 yang baik selain naikkan harga air if we reach the quota but still masih jua urang pikir solution yang paling sanang tapi inda seberapa effective ani grrrrh
ni nah contoh paling baik, harga sigup bah dari $1++ naik ke $3++ one packet masih jua bapaku besigup sampai hari ani, inda pernah ia berhajat kan beranti walaupun harga sigup atu naik ke $10 sepacket kali.
OH YEAH I ALSO DISAGREE ON REDUCING THE SUBSIDIZING OF PETROL IN BRUNEI, WHICH MEANS WE HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR PETROL.
In conclusion, aku nda suka lah naik2 harga ani, there are so many things that you can do to curb something apart from increasing the price which seems to be everyone's favourite thing to do in this world.
