Happy new year. 2014 will be the year I'm gonna sort out my life, in health and financially.
Looking back, I entered 2013 with a bang in the face and over the months I made new friends, found passion in travelling, having a good time and working out. 2013 was a kickstarter to my career, no more a graduate now a yuppie, umm until the next 8 years haha! I also found out that I can cook, even prepped my own healthy meals to work. Wondered why wasn't I this health conscious before? I think 2013 was the year I matured, so thanks to all who brought me in 2013, who made me the way I am now. I believe for everything that has happened, happened for a reason..so no regrets to anything.
However, there were things that I neglegted while pursuing and searching for happiness(or maybe I was just trying to run away from feeling empty). I will try to improve, circle myself with people who will be able to help me and continue trying to burst my own bubble. Take criticism, understand where it stems from and take it as a challenge.
If I may take one of the 7 habits of highly effective people, "Start with end in mind". I am just about to start my 2014 with realising what I want to achieve by the end of 2014. To be happy, to be carefree, to be financially solid. I will not put details here as the specific goals are quite personal, but then stay tuned for (my infrequent) updates.
On other note, I just came back from a steve aoki and angger dimas performance in sunway lagoon, KL..Had major fun, travelled with new bunch of friends and I really enjoyed it. While on the plane, on the way back I looked at my situation and if I continue to travel monthly it will not help with my cashflow hence I have decided that I will only limit my travelling once every quarter this year. Sydney will be a definite go this year, I miss it too much, I need to eat all the food! But before that I need to shed some fat and water weight, gain some muscle and reward myself with a ticket to Sydney(sounds like a good plan :D )
Glad to see that Do missed me after this weekend trip.
Now let me end this blog entry with a view from our hotel room in Sunway Lagoon.
xoxo,
bish
